IBEW Local 1593 hosted our first Brave the Shave event this year as the “2018 Mercer County Event” with three teams and eleven individuals who Braved the Shave. In total, $10,784 was raised. Thank you to all who donated your hair, money and time for this event.

A special thank you to Antelope Valley Station for letting us use your conference room and supplying food and drinks, you did a great job!

Brave the Shave was established for fundraising for pediatric cancer research. It was during this time that Brave the Shave discovered a need to provide support to not only the research of pediatric cancer afflicting so many children, but also to provide assistance to the families of these little fighters.
